La Cala Golf Course, Costa Del Sol

Cala

La Cala Golf has three courses, the North Course open since 1992, the South Course since 1991, and the recently opened Campo Europa Course.

All three courses were designed by American Cabell B. Robinson, and have their own special features.

The North Course (par73, 6187 Metres) is a championship layout, and pros find it a real challenge from the white tees, but its wide fairways and different tee positions make it pleasant for all levels of golfer.

The South Course (par 72, 5966 Metres) features target style golf in a spectacular setting. This is challenging to all levels of golfer, rewarding accuracy rather than power.

The new course, Campo Europa (par 71, 6050 Metres), is not only dramatic, but will be easier for the average golfer. There are generous fairways and the greens are slightly larger than the other two courses.

All courses feature 'Bermuda Tifway 419' fairways, which are peppered with top conditioned bunkers and fast undulating greens. There is a large driving range, 6 hole par 3 course, a range near the clubhouse for warm–ups, as well as a practice green, bunker and pitching areas. La Cala Golf is home to The David Leadbetter Golf Academy, with its own practice area, video rooms, computer coach and a team of multi-lingual instructors.
